President Muhammadu Buhari has received the first-ever Nigeria-made cellphone. The phone called ITF Mobile was presented to him today, June 9, by Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, just before the commencement of the week’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Minister, Mr Adebayo stated that it was produced by the Electrical/Electronics Technology Department of the Industrial Training Fund’s (ITF) Model Skills Training Centre, using locally sourced components.
