93 recovered COVID-19 patients, including 11 foreigners discharged in Lagos
The Lagos State Government has confirmed the discharge of 93 civic-19 patients after they tested negative.
His excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made the figures available to the press.
According to Sanwo-Olu; “11 of the discharged patients were from Agidingbi, 22 from Gbagada, 36 from Lekki, 8 from Eti-Osa(LandMark), 9 from Onikan and 7 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH Isolation Centres after full recovery and testing negative to COVID-19.
The recovered patients included 16 females and 77 males, including 11 foreign nationals were discharged from various isolation facilities in the state.
“This brings to 1512, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.
“Let’s continue to adhere strictly to #PhysicalDistancing and #handhygiene principles #ForACOVID19FreeLagos.”
However, Nigeria on Sunday recorded 490 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 24,567.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known via its Twitter handle.
The centre also reported seven deaths.
