Victor Osimhen Scores First Competitive Goal For Napoli, Advocates For #EndPoliceBrutalityInNigeria
Napoli record signing and Nigerian Born goalscorer, Victor Osimhen opened his competitive goals account today for his club after scoring the fourth goal of the match.
The striker scored in the 43rd minute after a brilliant assist from his goalkeeper, David Ospina.
Osimhen celebrated holding a white shirt which read “#EndPoliceBrutalityInNigeria”. The footballer becomes the first Nigerian sportsman to advocate for the ongoing protests in Nigeria on the football pitch.
Napoli went on to win the match, with goals from Hirving Lozano and Matteo Politano, with the former scoring two goals in the match.
Napoli sit third in the Italian Serie A table with eight points from four matches played.
