Residents In Fear As They Wake Up To Posters From Gunmen About An Impending “Christmas Visit”

Some residents, landlords and tenants of Dejuwogbo community, Oke-Ota Ona, Ikorodu, in Lagos State, have fleed from their homes after receiving a threat notice posted in the neighborhood by gunmen suspected to be robbers.

 

According to reports, the people woke up last Saturday to the posters of masked armed men pasted in strategic points in the community with threats to attack the community on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing day.

 

The poster reads, “Team 13. Dejuwogbo CDA. Expect us 24, 25 & 26 December, 2020. Maximum cooperation or head would roll (sic).”
