Seoul Mayor, Park Won-soon, has been found dead in northern Seoul, Yonhap, after daughter complained he went missing and didn’t show up at work, cancelling all his scheduled meetings with his cell phone number switched off.
The daughter also told a news agency that her father (Park), had left a message earlier that sounded like a will before going missing.
Police found the Park Won-soon’s body near Sukjeongmun historic gates after a long search, The agency provided no further details, including the cause of the mayor’s death.
Reports said suggested that the Mayor might have committed suicide.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that a woman, who worked as his secretary, had filed a sexual harassment claim against Park the day before he went missing.
