Sullivan was fatally stabbed in Primrose Hill, London, a popular scenic location in north London. Emergency services discovered the young student with multiple knife wounds near the hill’s viewing point on Tuesday.

According to the Metropolitan Police, Ogunyankinnu, 27, who resides on Southbury Road in Enfield, was arrested on Friday, April 10, and formally charged with murder on Sunday, April 12. He is scheduled to appear before Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Authorities also confirmed that a 25-year-old man who had earlier been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released without further action. Investigations into the incident are still ongoing.

Finbar Sullivan was a student at the London Screen Academy, where he was known for his passion for film. His father, Chris Sullivan, described him as a vibrant and beloved young man.

“I’ve lost my only son,” he told BBC London. “All of his friends said he was the light, the leader. His friends’ parents loved him. That’s why this is so tragic.”

In a related development, another man in his 20s was found with stab injuries on nearby Regent’s Park Road on the same day. He was taken to the hospital, where his injuries were confirmed to be non-life-threatening.
