Atalanta star Ademola Lookman has earned a prestigious nomination for the Serie A Forward of the Year category at the Gran Gala del Calcio Awards.
Lookman is set to compete against some of the league’s best, including Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram of Inter Milan, as well as AC Milan’s Rafael Leao. His club, Atalanta, has also received a nomination for Club of the Year, while their manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, is in contention for Coach of the Year.
The Nigerian international showcased exceptional form last season, scoring 17 goals and delivering 10 assists across all competitions. His standout performance included a hat-trick that led Atalanta to victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final.
This season, Lookman continues to shine, already tallying eight goals and five assists in 14 appearances.
The nomination highlights Lookman’s growing reputation as one of Serie A’s most dynamic forwards and a key player for Atalanta. Fans and pundits alike are eager to see if the 27-year-old will secure the top honor.
