Health authorities in China have once again reported no new cases of covid19 infections in mainland China in the past 24 hrs.
However, the National Health Commission, did confirm five new asymptomatic coronavirus cases on May 28, down from 23 a day earlier.
This is the second time in less than a week that China has no confirmed new cases of Covid19 and the country has been set back in motion with attendant public safety guidelines to curtail the spread of the virus.
China has recorded a total of 82,995 confirmed cases of covid19 infections ever since the outbreak, about 4,634 casualties were reported and 78,291 persons recovered.
