The President of Burundi, Pierre Nkurunziza has kicked the bucket on Monday June 9, 2020.
According to the report, he was admitted on Saturday over what was considered a minor ailment. However, on Monday he had a cardiopulmonary arrest, and all efforts to revive him proved abortive.
He was 55 years of age, and had been in power for the past 15 years.
