Ayotomide Labinjo Accuses Davido of Bribery During 2014 DNA Test for Daughter Anu
Ayotomide Labinjo, the mother of Anu Adeleke, has alleged that Nigerian music star Davido bribed a doctor to manipulate the results of a DNA test conducted in 2014 to determine Anu’s paternity.
This revelation comes after Prince Bobo, Davido’s former lawyer, denied claims that Anu is the artist’s biological daughter. Ayotomide has countered this narrative, claiming on Instagram that Prince Bobo is protecting Davido’s reputation.
She refuted allegations of multiple DNA tests, stating that only one was conducted in a small clinic in 2014, without Prince Bobo’s involvement. According to her, she witnessed Davido allegedly handing a brown envelope to the doctor, whom she identified as “Dr. Alex,” to falsify the test results.
Ayotomide wrote:
“This week, I introduced my daughter Mitchelle Anu Adeleke to Nigerians after a 6-year break on the Instagram page built for her 5th birthday by Dr. Kemi in 2018. To my shock, I read several blog stories claiming that I had 2 DNA tests to establish Anuoluwapo’s paternity with Mr. David Adeleke.
“This false information was maliciously spread by his friend and former lawyer, Bobo Ajudua, who was neither present nor employed by Mr. Adeleke at the time in 2014. It has caused malicious bullying and disrespect to my person and my daughter.
“We did not go to two hospitals but a small clinic where my daughter’s blood was drawn in a private room—not even a clinical lab setting. My family and I watched money change hands in a brown envelope between Mr. David Adeleke and Mr. Wale Sobola, who disguised his name as ‘Dr. Alex.’”
Ayotomide added that repeated requests for a second DNA test, including one in 2019, were declined by Davido through his former lawyer. She emphasized that she seeks no validation or support from the Adeleke family but is determined to establish her daughter’s paternity.
The post has sparked widespread reactions online, with Nigerians sharing mixed opinions about the situation. Ayotomide thanked her supporters, saying she and her daughter have moved on and are doing well.
