The 10th episode of the BBNaija Pepper Dem Reunion show was between the past season’s most controversial housemates – Mercy Eke and Tacha.
The BBNaija reunion show, the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu decided to bring Mercy Eke, the season’s winner and Tacha, one of the season’s strongest rival in the game before she was disqualified, together so the duo could iron out their differences and make peace with each other.
There has been some kind of tension between Mercy and Tacha. This began after the unfortunate disqualification of Tacha as a result of a heated argument and fight between the two.
Since then, the two women has frequently engaged in war of ‘shades’ on social media. Also, Titans, Tacha’s fan and Mercenaries, Mercy’s fan has always attacked each other on social media.
Tacha revealed that prior to the fight both of them were cool as she even congratulated Mercy on her secured immunity that morning while they were in the bathroom.
Tacha admitted that the pressure of being nominated for possible eviction at that point in the game got to her and probably fuelled the fight. She said, “Being in a confined space for that long makes you lose your mind, there was a lot of pressure and that’s possibly what led to the fight…”
However during the reunion, Both Mercy and Tacha revealed that their relationship was not as bad as people thought. Mercy said she called Tacha on her birthday and the two had exchanged a few other calls.
Mercy emphasized that “in real life” she and Tacha are cool but on social media, the latter was being antagonistic towards her.
Tacha and Mercy admitted that they were willing to mend their relationship. Mercy suggested they have a heart-to-heart talk and fix their relationship away from social media and camera, so the relationship can be organic.
Tacha said she is willing to give it a try as she would love to be friends or business partners with her, she also asked Mercy to unblock her.
Could this bring a possible end to the feud?
