United States President-elect, Joe Biden, has selected Nigerian-born attorney, Adewale Adeyemo, as the Deputy Treasury Secretary.
Adeyemo was a former senior international economic adviser during the Obama administration.
Adeyemo’s appointment is one of the cabinet positions Biden is expected to announce in the coming days.
