Manchester United has sucessfully purchased the second most expensive English player, Jadon Sancho in a five-year contract for £73m.
Moving from Borrusia Dortmund, the English winger said; “the chance to join ManUtd is a dream come true”. Sancho stated that he looks forward to perform with his new team in the Premier league.
“This is a young and exciting squad and I know, together, we can develop into something special to bring the success that the fans deserve” he added.
The transfer agreement from Dortmund was finalised on July 1 and the 5 year contract due in June, 2026 has an extra year offer/option till July, 2027.
Ole Gunnar, ManUtd Coach says Old Trafford will give the new team player the platform he needs to release his untapped talent.
Sancho scored 50 goals and registered 57 assists in 137 appearances for Dortmund.
