The Chief of Army Staff of the Nigerian Armed forces, General Ibrahim Attahiru has been reported dead in a military air crash.
He was on board with a number of his officers and aides to Kaduna to attend the passing out parade of soldiers from the Nigeria Army Depot in Zaria.
All officers on board have been confirmed dead.
