The abducted school boys of Government Secondary School Kankara, who were released yesterday have just arrived the Katsina State Government House where they are being received by the State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari and some Government officials in the state.
A live video seen by Travis Media shows that the boys were brought in by school trucks in badges and were marched into the state house escorted by security operatives looking pale and exhausted.
Commendations have been given to President Buhari for the government’s swift response and eventual release of the school children from the evil hands of the abductors barely 6 days after the tragic incident.
However, speculations still linger on how the Kankara school boys were released very quickly unlike the case of the Chibok girls who were abducted in 2014 and the Dapchi girls in 2018.
The government has maintained that no form of compensation or ransom were given to the abductors to secure the release of the school boys.
It is expected that all the children will undergo medical and therapeutic examinations after reuniting with their families to ensure their quick and full recovery from the horrific experience.
