The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday said Nigeria has recorded 197 new cases of COVID-19 and 5 additional death linked to the virus.
This resulted to a total number of 55,829 infections in the country. 43,810 persons have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1075 death cases were recorded to the virus, according to the NCDC.
