The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday said Nigeria has recorded 499 new cases of COVID-19 and an additional 5 deaths linked to the virus.
This resulted to a total number of 30,748 infections in the country. 12,546 persons have been successfully treated and discharged, while 689 death cases have been recorded to the virus, according to the NCDC.
