Central Hospital In Warri Lost Reputable Doctor In COVID-19 Battle

Former Zonal Medical Director and consultant anaesthetist at the Central Hospital, Warri, Delta State, Dr Toju Eresanara, has lost his life in the battle against COVID-19.

Dr Toju, was said to have been undergoing treatment at the COVID-19 treatment centre in Asaba after testing positive, reportedly died of complications yesterday morning.

Dr Toju had a huge reputation to have played a critical role in the growth and development of the Warri Central Hospital to meet the medical needs of residents of Warri and its environs.

The state government is yet make any official statement on the development, but the Chief Medical Director, Central Hospital, Warri, Dr Paul Okurbo, confirmed the death of the reputable doctor.
