Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes first European Men’s Player To Score 100 International Goals
Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo became the second male player to notch 100 career international goals and the first European men’s player to hit this milestone.
Cristiano Ronaldo broke the record as he scored a sensational free-kick for Portugal during Tuesday’s Nations League match against Sweden.
According to ESPN, Ronaldo now trails only Iran’s Ali Daei, who accumulated 109 goals during his historic international career.
However, Ronaldo could’ve hit the century mark on Saturday against Croatia but was sidelined because of a toe infection.
