Davido celebrates getting his correct username on IG after 10 years of begging previous user

Popular Nigerian Singer, Davido is currently excited and happy after getting his stage name, Davido on Instagram.

Davido who formerly had the username ‘Davidoofficial’ on Instagram, revealed his stage name, ‘Davido’ was being used by a Brazilian guy and for the past ten years, he has been begging the guy to allow him use the name.

However today, he made the announcement via Twitter, excitedly stating that he has now claimed ownership of “Davido” on Twitter.

He tweeted;

“Finally!!!!! NEW IG NAME: DAVIDO … lol I literally begged some Brazilian guy for like 10 years on ig to free this name for me !! Thank you…”
