“Dem say make I come do walk, For another round of beating??”Mr. Macoroni fumes as he rejects Gov. Sanwo-Olu’s Peace-Walk Invitation.

Reacting to the invitation by his Excellency, Gov. Babjide Sanwo-Olu to a peace walk in what may be described as a honorary commemoration of the #EndSARS protest and its attendant mayhem it brought upon the people of Lagos State and Nigeria at large, popular comedian and skit-maker, Debo Adebayo, aka Mr Marcaroni took his official twitter handle to announce is lack of interest in the Governor’s invitation.

Expressing great displeasure from his previous experience during the #EndSARS protest, Macaroni said he was brutalized and dehumanized even without wielding a single weapon at the last peaceful protest he participated and his tormentos asked him why he was disturbing the Governor.

His tweet read, “The last walk wey I do, na so dem strip me naked, brutalize and dehumanize me. I no carry gun, I no carry weapon. As dem dey beat me, dem dey ask why I dey disturb Mr. Governor. Now dem say make I come do walk. For another round of beating??

The Governor also invited popular entertainer and activist, Folarin Falana, better known as Falz, Dele Farotimi, an activist and lawyer, Temitope Majekodunmi, Segun Awosanya, Singer, Seun Kuti, among others, to join him in the historical march/peace walk.
