Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) engaged in a violent clash in the Yaba area of Ondo town, Ondo State on Thursday evening, August 20, few hours before the local government election in the state.
According to reports, several people were badly injured while several cars were destroyed in the clash.
The cause of the fight is yet to be ascertained. But the police say normalcy has been restored to the area and efforts are being made to arrest those behind the violent attacks.
