The Enugu State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has confirmed the 11th case of Covid19 infection in the state.
While updating newsmen on the situation of the state amidst the pandemic, he said that all the positive cases in the state have travel history from other states.
He reported that the 11th case is a 40 year old man who came into Enugu from Kano State on May 4th.
Speaking further, the Governor lamented that the increase of positive cases in the state is largely due to the flagrant disregard of the ban on inter-state travels. He called on all those charged with securing the State borders to take their job more seriously to protect the state from a possible outbreak of Covid19.
