Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the former President of Nigeria has been appointed as the Chancellor of Cavendish University Uganda (CUU).
Cavendish University Uganda is a private University which is rated as one of the leading Universities in Africa.
The university started its operations in 2008. At the opening ceremony, the former Zambian President, late Kenneth Kaunda was the Chancellor of the university.
CUU is affiliated with Cavendish College London, Cavendish University, Tanzania and Cavendish University, Zambia. Its first graduation ceremony held in November 2011.
The university has different operational campuses across the country including a campus in the capital city of Kampala wrote on Facebook page;
“Welcome aboard Goodluck Jonathan as you take over as the Chancellor of CUU. We look forward to this new era and achieving great things under your leadership. Success begins at Cavendish!”
