A seven-year-old boy has been left with multiple injuries after he was gruesomely beaten by his stepfather.
Graphic photos shared online shows the boy with a swollen face and wounds all over his body.
According to reports, the little boy had eaten a portion of food in the afternoon that was meant for to be for dinner, an action which infuriated his stepfather.
It is unclear where the incident occurred, but the National Human Rights Commission of Nigeria is following up on the case.
Some of the social media influencers has taken up the case also as they condemn the demoralising act.
