“I have no sympathy for Governor Zulum, he crafted the fallacy that Boko Haram was Goodluck’s fault” – Reno Omokri

Following recent attacks on the convoy of Borno governor, Babagana Umara Zulum by Boko Haram terrorists, Reno Omokri, aide to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has said that he has no sympathy for the governor.

According to him, Governor Zulum and former Governor Kashim Shettima crafted the fallacy that Boko Haram was Goodluck Jonathan’s fault

He wrote,

“Governor Zulum was a commissioner under former Governor Kashim Shettima. They both perpetuated the fallacy that Boko Haram was Jonathan’s fault. In 2015 Borno gave General Buhari 94% of their votes. In 2019, they gave him 91%. Just last year, Shettima described himself as an “enemy” (his exact words) of Jonathan. The Jonathan that Shettima accused has just almost single handedly returned peace to Mali. Meanwhile even the Governor or Borno has no peace in his state. They cooked beans. Let them enjoy their delicious food!‬ I have sympathy for the people of Borno, but not for Zulum and Shettima!
