“If You Marry Outside Our Ministry, I Won’t Attend Your Wedding” – Apostle Johnson Suleman Warns Congregants

Popular Nigerian cleric, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has issued a stern warning to members of his church against marrying individuals from other ministries.

During a recent sermon, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International announced his decision not to officiate or attend weddings of members who choose partners from outside the church.

He explained that his stance stems from the challenges he has faced in resolving marital crises involving congregants who married individuals from other ministries.

Apostle Suleman said:

“If you wed somebody outside the ministry, I will not attend the wedding because there are a lot of daughters in this church, and you are looking outside.

“The wedding will be conducted, and they will wed you, but I will not come. About 70% of the crises I have handled in the past two months involve people who married girls from outside here.”

The cleric emphasized the importance of marrying within the church, highlighting the benefits of shared beliefs and values in fostering stronger, more harmonious marriages.
