The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the immediate withdrawal of the six-police-man escort attached to the famous businessman and music mongul, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money.
E-Money’s flamboyant lifestyle have recently raised suspicions and made him a subject of police investigation.
The Lagos state police command’s spokesperson, Bala Elkana said this during an interview with news men.
“Yes I can confirm that policemen have been withdrawn from him”.
“We received a signal from the Force headquarters on Monday that police detail of the music mongul E-Money be immediately withdrawn and an investigation into him be launched.
“The IG was surprised that policemen were attached to him in the first place and were being used as domestic servants, carrying umbrellas, opening doors and doing menial jobs for him.
According to the report, the IG ordered the withdrawal and subsequent investigation of the chairman of Five Star Music Group following complaints about his misuse of the police escorts.
