Mexico’s Finance Minister, Arturo Herrera took to Twitter on Thursday to disclose that he has tested positive for Covid-19 and has mild symptoms.
Herrera said he’s in quarantine and working from home. He has participated in events alongside President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador in recent days.
World Health Organization (WHO) head, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said earlier today that the pandemic is getting worse globally with the number of infections expected to reach 10 million next week.
Arturo Herrera joins the long list of political leaders and ministers that have been confirmed positive of COVID-19.
