Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan, has announced that a 25-year-old lawyer, Bisola Ajayi, Who was kidnapped at her residence in Port Harcourt last weekend has been rescued.
Bisola Ajayi, fondly called Paulette, was abducted on Saturday night from her residence at the Rumukwurusi area of Obio-Akpor, Port Harcourt.
Mukan while briefing newsmen at the State Police Headquarters, Moscow road, Port Harcourt on Thursday, has now disclosed that the victim has been rescued by operatives of the Anti-Kidnap Unit from a deep forest in Etche Local Government Area of the State.
He said Ajayi was rescued along with another kidnap victim, whose white Venza car was used to whisk away the lawyer.
In addition, Mukan stated that two suspects and an arm-dealer were arrested.
