Kanye West Faces Sexual Assault Lawsuit from Model Jenn An
Kanye West has been hit with a federal lawsuit by model Jenn An, accusing him of sexual assault during a 2010 music video shoot for the remix of La Roux’s song In For the Kill. The allegations detail a harrowing experience involving violence and humiliation, leaving the model traumatized.
Jenn An, known from her appearance in America’s Next Top Model cycle 13, alleges that West turned the New York City shoot at the Chelsea Hotel into a deeply disturbing ordeal. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, West reportedly singled her out from a lineup of women, allegedly stating, “Give me the Asian girl,” and later commented, “That’s why I chose you,” as she was dressed in revealing lingerie.
The lawsuit claims West choked Jenn with both hands until she blacked out, smothered her face, and forced multiple fingers down her throat, actions she described as emulating forced oral sex. She alleges the incident lasted over a minute, leaving her physically distressed and humiliated.
During the alleged assault, West reportedly shouted, “This is art. This is f**king art. I am like Picasso,” while directing the camera to focus solely on her. Jenn contends that the scene resembled pornographic BDSM fetishes rather than a professional music video shoot.
Jenn also alleges that La Roux, the artist behind the original track, later described the shoot as “upsetting and unsettling” in private conversations. Despite the accusations, the final version of the music video does not feature Jenn or Kanye.
The lawsuit names both Kanye West and Universal Music Group as defendants, accusing them of gender-motivated violence. Jenn claims the incident was intentionally suppressed by industry figures and is now seeking accountability for what she describes as a traumatic and exploitative experience.
Representatives for Kanye West and Universal Music Group have not yet commented on the allegations.
