The Lagos State Government has come under scrutiny following the demolition of free schools operated by the Omega Power Ministries (OPM).

Speaking with TVC News during the demolition, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the founder of OPM, expressed deep disappointment, asserting that the land was legally purchased. He presented documents as evidence to support his claim.

Despite this, reports indicate that government officials proceeded with the demolition, allegedly displaying a nonchalant attitude. The incident has sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing outrage and calling for justice.

Some have demanded that the state government compensate OPM for the loss, while others criticized the lack of communication or clarification from government officials.

As of now, the Lagos State Government has yet to issue an official statement addressing the demolition or the concerns raised by the church and the public. OPM authorities have hinted at taking legal action to seek redress for the situation.
