More Than 340 Protesters Arrested In NYC, 33 Officers Injured.
The protest that erupted in the US after the death of George Flyod starting from Minneapolis has spread like wild fire across the country with attendant chaos and public nuissance.
Americans have come out in solidarity to condemn police brutality and racial prejudice as was the case of the late George Floyd and many other black Americans.
In New York City, the protesters clashed with the police resulting to uncontrollable violence and stuff response by the security officials leading to the arrest of no fewer than 340 protesters during the face-off which left 33 police officers injured.
Protests also began in the UK yesterday as a hoard of people matched to the American embassy in London with placards calling for justice against police brutality.
Security officials in Minneapolis have lamented that the protests across the country have gone beyond George Floyd’s death.
