Popular online comedian, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, led an all-night #EndSARSProtest at the Lagos State Government House in Alausa, on Thursday.
Mr Macaroni before the all-night protest announced that he alongside other protesters will be spending the night in front of the government house.
He tweeted, “Just heard that another youth got shot in Delta. We are not leaving Alausa tonight!! We are sleeping in front of the Government House. Someone must take responsibility! #AlutaContinua #EndSars”
Mr Macaroni alongside other protesters addressed the Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, emphasizing that the government works for the people and if the people want a job done, the government must do it without delay.
Even when the tent of the protesters was allegedly seized, the comedian and protesters refused to back down and remained there till this morning.
At the end of the peaceful protest, Mr Macaroni shared a tweet thanking those who stepped out to join in the protest.
