“Na internet their power dey” — Burna Boy shades Wizkid after DJ Tunez incident

Nigerian music heavyweight Burna Boy has finally spoken up about the drama involving DJ Tunez — and he didn’t hold back, especially when it came to Wizkid.

During an Instagram Live session, Burna Boy set the record straight, dismissing viral claims that his crew ganged up on DJ Tunez. According to him, he was the only one involved — and the situation didn’t go beyond “just two slaps.”

He also made it clear that he expected Wizkid to handle things differently. Burna Boy expressed disappointment that Wizkid didn’t reach out privately, choosing instead to react online.

Taking things a step further, the Grammy winner threw subtle but sharp jabs, suggesting Wizkid’s strength lies more on social media than in real-life situations. He hinted that he anticipated a stronger, more direct response but was surprised when it didn’t happen.

In his words, he insisted no one else touched DJ Tunez and emphasized that he personally stopped others from getting involved. He added that if multiple people had actually attacked the DJ, the outcome would have looked very different.

The controversy stems from earlier reports of a nightclub clash involving Burna Boy and DJ Tunez. Online eyewitness accounts claimed the situation escalated into a group confrontation.

DJ Tunez, however, reportedly fired back, calling Burna Boy’s actions weak and maintaining that he stood his ground despite the situation.

Burna Boy later added fuel to the conversation by posting a calm, almost playful video of himself vibing to DJ Tunez’s track — a move that only intensified reactions and debates among fans across social media.
