Nasarawa State Law Maker Kidnapped
Ismail Danbaba a member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, representating Nasarawa Central has been abducted.
He was abducted in the evening on Saturday 29th May 2021 in Sanga Local Government area of Kaduna State.
The legislator was reportedly on his way to Jos, Plateau, for a Legislative workshop scheduled hold on Sunday.
The incident was confirmed by Muhammed Adamu Omadefu, Chairman of the state House of Assembly Committee on information who explained that the kidnapped member had passed Andaha town in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State heading to the forest area in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State when the kidnappers abducted him.
He also stated that the kidnappers had made contact with the assembly but were yet to demand any ransom.
He further urged that the members of the public pray for the safety of the abducted law maker.
