Nigerian Twitter has sparked up a movement on twitter, #SAVENIGERIANSTUDENTS.
This movement which is currently sitting at the No.1 Trend on Nigeria Twitter came as a result of the statement made by the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, after notifying the Student Associations that the academic year has high tendencies of being lost following the Coronavirus pandemic.
A twitter user wrote, “#SAVENIGERIANSTUDENTS
If you can reopen market, nothing should stop you in reopening schools”.
Another wrote, “Its a shame that election and religious activities have resumed but the institutions for building the foundation for national development is still barred from resuming activities. #SAVENIGERIANSTUDENTS”.
