Gloria Anozie Young is appealing to well meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of Ify Onwuemene.
One of Nollywood veterans, Ify Onwuemene who has been in the industry for over two decades and well known for her role as “Sam Loco’s first wife” in the 1990’s popular TV Series “Everyday People”, is down with endometrial cancer and needs help from the public.
The news of her illness was shared via Instagram by her colleague, Gloria Anozie Young on Sunday, June 28, 2020.
According to the actress, Onwuemene tried sourcing for funds for her treatment but has met with lots of challenges. She went on to appeal to well-meaning Nigerians to come to her aid.
Gloria wrote, “Folks please we need help for our sister @ifyonwuemene an actress from the days of Sam loco and Enebeliuwa. I worked with her last on the set of Tajudeen Adepetu’s “Everyday People” in the late ’90s”.
