Opinions differ after Nigerian man knocked parents of GenZ children for ‘failing to teach them about work ethics’

A Nigerian man, Tochukwu Macfoy, has sparked a debate online after he took to social media to knock parents with Genz children.

In a video he posted, Tochukwu tackled the parents for ‘failing to teach their wards about work ethics.

He said;

‘’I work with a lot of Gen Z creatives and interns, there are really good ones but there are a few ones that are confusing. I remember speaking with an older person and he said ‘that one doesn’t have home training’ and I looked at his parents. His parents are leaders in church. So I said but this guys father is a good man but this guy behaviour?…..

I now realized that parents of GenZ are overcompensating because of how your parents were but it is affecting their ethics at work. There is no resilience to work, there is no respect.

I understand that at home they do not overtly need to be respectful because you are their friend but tell them you do not do voicenote to your CEO. You have to teach them. They cannot see you like they see their boss. You have chosen friendship You have over compensated in training but it affecting their work.

I work with GenZs and I am seeing the same pattern. It is not that they have poor home training. Their homes are amazing but their parents are over compensating”

His post however generated mixed reactions, While many agreed with him, a number of people argued that they see no disrespect in one sending a voice note to his boss.
