Over 60 Killed In Boko Haram, ISWAP Attacks In Borno.

Boko Haram militants and their counterpart in ISWAP {Islamic States of West African Province} have attacked the Monguno and Nganzai local government area of Borno State killing about 20 military officers and about 40 residents of the community with many others injured.

The report says that the insurgents brimmed over the military area in Monguno, and killed about 20 soldiers and took away some of the injured with them.

It is also reported that the local police station and the United Nations humanitarian hub in the area was set ablaze.

The group in a letter distributed to the residents warned the community not to have any dealings with the military, white missionaries or any other unbelievers of their faith.

Meanwhile at the same time in Nganzai area, reports testified that some others also invaded the community in motor cycles and trucks, shooting randomly. Over 40 residents were gunned down with many injured.
