Scores of physically challenged persons were seen at the National Asssembly Complex in Abuja in the early hours of Thursday in a peaceful demonstration against what they termed neglect by their representatives in the National Assembly.

According to reports, they forced themselves inside the National Assembly Complex despite resistance by security operatives at the NASS entrance gate.

Speaking to newsmen, the spokesman for the physically challenged persons, Amos Etim said that they arrived at the National Assembly from the various states of Niger Delta to demand their rights from their representatives whom they claimed were not doing their job.

They lamented that they were being denied their rights as citizens of Nigeria because of their condition despite being educated.
