Samuel Ajibola has quit his role as Spiff in ‘The Johnsons’, a TV series produced by Rogers Ofime.

The Johnson, which airs on Africa Magic, dwells on the life of an average Lagos family and the challenges they face.

It stars Chinedu Ikedieze as Efetobore Johnson, Olumide Oworu as Tari, Ada Ameh as Emu Johnson, Charles Inojie as Lucky Johnson, Seun Adebajo Osigbesan as Jennifer Johnson, and Gaji Samuel as Mohammed.

Ajibola features as Lucky’s adopted child in the series and often behave silly, eat excessively and act as partner in crime to Abulu, another character.

He wrote on a Twitter post on Tuesday, the actor said it is time for him to move on from the series and take up new tasks in the movie landscape.

”It’s difficult to let go but it’s time to officially announce on this platform as I quit my role as Spiff in The Johnsons.

Thanks to everyone for your undying support and love, I couldn’t have asked for more.

I’ve got time on my hands and not much on my side, I’ve to move on.”
