Nigerian politician Shina Peller has clarified that popular TikToker Peller is not a member of his family, despite sharing the same surname.
In a recent interview on *Channels TV*, Shina Peller explained that the surname “Peller” originated from his father’s career as a magician and has been adopted by the family ever since. While acknowledging the TikToker’s clever use of the name to achieve fame, he emphasized that there is no familial connection.
“Truly, Professor Peller’s family is quite extended, but he is not a member of the family,” Shina Peller stated. “The name ‘Peller’ was given to our father as a magician, and it’s a name the family has embraced since his time. The comedian is not a member of the Peller family. It’s a successful name, and he’s just being smart by leveraging it. You can’t blame him, but I can categorically say he’s not part of the Peller family.”
The clarification puts to rest speculations surrounding the TikToker’s ties to the prominent Peller family, known for their legacy in entertainment and politics.
