Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho, the Yoruba Nations activist has suspended the Yoruba Nation rally which was scheduled to hold in Lagos on Saturday 3rd July 2021.
Following several rallies that have been held in different parts of the South-West, that of Lagos was scheduled to hold on Saturday.
However, Igboho in an interview with BBC News Pidgin on Thursday 1st July 2021, disclosed that he took the decision to cancel the rally in Lagos because of safety and security issues.
This announcement was made just hours after his house in Ibadan, Oyo State, was attacked by gunmen who reportedly killed two persons and abducted his wife.
