The Super Eagles of Nigeria have departed on a speed boat to Port Novo, Benin Republic to match against the country’s team on Saturday for AFCON qualifier.
This is said to be the first sea travel by the Nigerian Football team since independence as they ply through the rejuvenated water services in Lagos. The first being in 1949 when the erstwhile team made its maiden boat trip to Everton, England.
