In the capital city of Osun state, Osogbo, some youths suspected to be Internet Fraudsters have resisted the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) who attempted to arrest them and confisticate about 25 Posh vehicles.
According to reports, the incidents was said to have created tension in that particular area as officers of the EFCC were ambushed by an angry mob who lit bonfires at a popular junction called Lameco in Osogbo.
Spokesperson of the Osun Police State confirmed, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident while assuring that it was being put under control.
“We are aware of the situation, we are now trying to appease the protesters and clear the bonfire so that people can go about their lawful duties without fear of harassment,” Yemisi said.
