TikToker Salo Recounts Harrowing Experience of Being Tracked and Shot in Lekki, Vows Revenge
Popular TikToker Salo has shared a chilling account of how he survived an attack by hired killers in Lekki, Lagos. The content creator revealed the terrifying details in a video after weeks of recovery from gunshot wounds sustained during the ordeal.
The incident occurred along Freedom Way, Lekki, where Salo was tracked and shot three times. According to him, the events unfolded after he stopped for drinks and later set out to meet someone who had promised him a sum of one million naira.
On his way, he encountered a group of men who claimed to know him from Ibadan, addressing him by his real name. It was at this moment he realized he was being targeted.
Salo recounted the encounter with raw emotion, cursing his assailants in the video:
“You’ll lack money. Those who pointed their guns at me shall never find peace. You’ll die one by one, and in pain. I won’t accept this. You’ll suffer on earth and in heaven.”
He detailed how one of the attackers approached him, demanding he hand over his chain.
“Remove your chain,” the assailant reportedly commanded before firing a warning shot into the air.
Despite the life-threatening situation, Salo said he maintained his composure and refused to comply. However, the assailant shot him, hitting his body and leaving him in immense pain. As he struggled to stay conscious, two more shots were fired at him, worsening his condition.
The video has since sparked an outpouring of support and sympathy from fans and followers, many of whom have expressed concern over the lack of security in the area.
Calls for justice and better safety measures in Lekki have grown louder as Salo vows to seek retribution for the attack. This harrowing account has served as a wake-up call about rising insecurity and the need for proactive measures to protect lives in urban areas.
