Popular Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo’s official Twitter account has been suspended.
The reasons for her suspension is unknown but her tweets in the past few days have been an outright condemnation of the ongoing nationwide protest against police brutality in Nigeria.
Two days ago, she called on the federal government to shutdown social media in the country as part of efforts to gag and put a hold on the #EndSARS protests.
Nigerians reacted to her suspension with excitement as many say she has been a stumbling block to the ongoing campaign.
