Mai Mala Buni, the Governor of Yobe State has promised to have implemented the state law that defines a long term jail sentence for up to 25 years for sexual abuse of Minors.
The Governor charged local leaders in the state to be on the watch and with haste report any incident of rape to the appropriate authorities.
He also mentioned to the enforcement agencies that such reports should be properly investigated and have justice served accordingly
