356 Stranded Nigerians Arrive Abuja From UAE And Pakistan
The Federal Government of Nigeria has evacuated 356 stranded citizens from Dubai, UAE and Pakistan respectively.
Nigerians In Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), took to Twitter today to confirm the news.
NIDCOM noted that the expatriated citizens would embark on the 14-day self-isolation period and follow the proper guidelines to discover their COVID-19 status.
Geoffrey Onyeama, Minister of Foreign Affairs also discloses the news via twitter. He said “Eventually, 56 Nigerians and 4 Pakistanis were safely evacuated from Islamabad to Abuja on a chattered aircraft operated by TARCO AVIATION Co. Ltd”.
“An emirate flight from UAE conveying about 300 Nigerians is also expected at about 3:55pm from Dubai”.
